Blair and I decided to get season passes to Worlds and Oceans of Fun. We spent Saturday and today (Monday) at the parks. It was so much fun. Blair loves the rides with big drops and steep slopes, and I love the rides with all the twists and turns. So we went on a little of everything. The water park was fun, there was a ride with a big tube that your group sits in and goes down this big slope, it was a little scary because Blair was trying to speed it up by throwing his body weight around, and me I was just holding on. After being there for a few hours we decided it was time to head home.
Today was at the Theme Park, the first ride we went on was a little water ride, silly really only one hill to go down. Then our friends met up with us and we went on a few more. All of them were great till we went on the boomerang. That one got us all sick, especially Blair. After that the heat was getting to us and we decided to go wait in another water ride, which was the longest wait. After waiting a little over 1/2 hr and almost being to the front of the line they shut down the ride. They told us we could wait if we wanted to, and we did. Well only for about another 30-40 minutes and then we gave up. What a bummer. After that little adventure we decided to go on a few more rides and then head home. I'm so happy we left when we did because the sun was getting to us and we are both a little red.
After a cool shower we have decided to just relax for the night before this week of work. Three day weekends are great.

Family
Today I was looking through my pictures and came across the picture of the Keele Family Reunion. some people my just see a group of people, with a few crazy looking people in there (just teasin family). When I look at it I see so much more. So I decided to share what I see.
The first thing I see are Parents that loved and cared for me through very though times. They always made sure I had what I needed, not wanted but needed, and taught me how to prepare to live on my own. Parents that bailed my out of trouble, as much trouble as I could get in with Andrea which wasn't much.
I also see some brothers that always looked out for me. When I fell and got hurt they fell and got hurt. When I didn't have anything to do for the day they would let their annoying sister tag along. They taught me how to fend for myself and taught me about boys.
Then there's my sister! I prayed for her for so long. It was wonderful to have my 3 brothers but I always wanted a sister to play with. And even when she was little I loved having her around. She always knew how to make me smile. It's so nice to know that she knows all my secrets and still loves me. And now we are blessed enough to have 2 more sisters. It my be by marriage that we are sisters but in our hearts and minds they are blood sisters. It's so fun just dancing with the girls on the Wii or having a spa night.
Then I see Grandparents that LOVED each one of their grandkids so much. They know everything there is to know about each one of us. So many memories of Hamburgers, wink wink I love you Grandma, and swimming at their house. Their grandkids where always number one in their lives. Whenever I see them I see what Marriage is about. They have been married for over 50 years and they still hold hands. It is extremely adorable.
Cousins wow so many of us. And we all have our own memories. Swimming at Aunt Chris and Uncle Cody's. Or hanging out at the Clark County Fair. The Disneyland trips when the car rides were better then the theme park. The Christmas eve party's and the best part of the night was reading the birth of Christ. And all the Thanksgivings where Aunt Chris and Kary where atleast an hour late but we still waited, even though we hadn't eaten anything all day (you'd think we would learn lol). All of stick together, if there is a wedding in the family you'd better make room for us. And when someone can't make it to a huge event they are so missed but eveyone is understanding.
Family is very important in my life and I am so grateful for the amazing memories my family has given my. And for their help celebrating with me when I succeed and praying for me when I am down. I love everyone in my family so much.
I guess this is what it means when people say "A picture is worth a thousand words". I can talk a lot so in my case maybe it should be "A picture is worth at least 10,000 words"

My trips to Micheal's are pretty often. Today I went with no purpose but to buy crafty stuff that I don't need but want. so I was walking around the store and they already have Holiday stuff out. I'm talking Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I can't believe it, it's not even September yet. Anyway, now I am extremely excited for Christmas. Our Christmas tree theme has been the same for a few years, and this year I am changing it up. We are going with Lavender and Silver ( the colors I wanted for our wedding and Blair Vetoed :), and angels everywhere. I figured the angels would be appropriate since I lost two Grandmas this year, and it has been really hard, But I know they are looking out for us.
