Blair and I were lucky enough to go to Las Vegas a little over a month ago for a fun family weekend. My parents wanted to do something special for all of us kids. So the girls spent time in a hotel and going to the show "LOVE" and the boys (maybe I should say MEN) went on a hunting trip.
So let me start with the girls trip. It was amazing! The hotel was beautiful and had 2 huge bathrooms for all of us girls. And the hotel had a pool with a lazy river on the side of it. So we all got to lay out at the pool, swim, play volleyball, and try sleeping in the lazy river. But that wasn't enough fun for us girls, we laughed and learned how to make new crafts in the hotel room. Then we went to the show. It was crazy watching all the acrobats that they were able to do.
Meanwhile the boys were out hunting. It ended up being all the boys on the trip and Sam and Lyrics 4 lb dog Jimmer. From the sounds of it Jimmer had a blast and enjoyed playing guard dog. It didn't take long for the boys to get the Antelope. Jimmer and Downy (Mica and Shelbie's dog) tried to help clean the Antelope. It was pretty funny watching the video of the dogs out in the wild.
After the hunt and the hotel trip we all meet back up at my parents house. My parents just got a pool, so we all got in the pool and decided to play like we did when we were kids. Sam, Kaitlin and I had squirt guns and after preforming a water, show similar to the Bellagio water show, we drenched everyone. After everyone tried to get us we decided we should all work together and make a whirl pool. Whirls pools when you are older aren't nearly as fun. Once you are heavier the water doesn't push you as fast. But we still had fun.
The trip was wonderful, and I feel closer to my new sisters. I love my family they are all so amazing. Everyone gets a long so well and cares about each other. There were nothing but loving words spoke the whole trip. I truly have been blessed with an amazing family. I am so grateful for them, and the great examples they set for me.

Family
Today I was looking through my pictures and came across the picture of the Keele Family Reunion. some people my just see a group of people, with a few crazy looking people in there (just teasin family). When I look at it I see so much more. So I decided to share what I see.
The first thing I see are Parents that loved and cared for me through very though times. They always made sure I had what I needed, not wanted but needed, and taught me how to prepare to live on my own. Parents that bailed my out of trouble, as much trouble as I could get in with Andrea which wasn't much.
I also see some brothers that always looked out for me. When I fell and got hurt they fell and got hurt. When I didn't have anything to do for the day they would let their annoying sister tag along. They taught me how to fend for myself and taught me about boys.
Then there's my sister! I prayed for her for so long. It was wonderful to have my 3 brothers but I always wanted a sister to play with. And even when she was little I loved having her around. She always knew how to make me smile. It's so nice to know that she knows all my secrets and still loves me. And now we are blessed enough to have 2 more sisters. It my be by marriage that we are sisters but in our hearts and minds they are blood sisters. It's so fun just dancing with the girls on the Wii or having a spa night.
Then I see Grandparents that LOVED each one of their grandkids so much. They know everything there is to know about each one of us. So many memories of Hamburgers, wink wink I love you Grandma, and swimming at their house. Their grandkids where always number one in their lives. Whenever I see them I see what Marriage is about. They have been married for over 50 years and they still hold hands. It is extremely adorable.
Cousins wow so many of us. And we all have our own memories. Swimming at Aunt Chris and Uncle Cody's. Or hanging out at the Clark County Fair. The Disneyland trips when the car rides were better then the theme park. The Christmas eve party's and the best part of the night was reading the birth of Christ. And all the Thanksgivings where Aunt Chris and Kary where atleast an hour late but we still waited, even though we hadn't eaten anything all day (you'd think we would learn lol). All of stick together, if there is a wedding in the family you'd better make room for us. And when someone can't make it to a huge event they are so missed but eveyone is understanding.
Family is very important in my life and I am so grateful for the amazing memories my family has given my. And for their help celebrating with me when I succeed and praying for me when I am down. I love everyone in my family so much.
I guess this is what it means when people say "A picture is worth a thousand words". I can talk a lot so in my case maybe it should be "A picture is worth at least 10,000 words"

My trips to Micheal's are pretty often. Today I went with no purpose but to buy crafty stuff that I don't need but want. so I was walking around the store and they already have Holiday stuff out. I'm talking Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I can't believe it, it's not even September yet. Anyway, now I am extremely excited for Christmas. Our Christmas tree theme has been the same for a few years, and this year I am changing it up. We are going with Lavender and Silver ( the colors I wanted for our wedding and Blair Vetoed :), and angels everywhere. I figured the angels would be appropriate since I lost two Grandmas this year, and it has been really hard, But I know they are looking out for us.
